It is such great blessing to be called and elected as Locust Grove’s Pastor. What a blessing it truly is to stand behind the pulpit where so many wonderful men of God have preached God’s Holy Word since 1921. What an honor it is to serve in the church where my grandparents, parents and children have served and worshipped.
Our hope is to preach God’s Word in order to win our community for our Lord Jesus Christ. It is our prayer to pass on comfort, encouragement and conviction of the Word of God to our families and to equip our body of believers with the truth of God’s promises that they may be empowered by the Spirit of the Lord to overcome the wicked influences of this world.
The Mission of Locust Grove Baptist is “to change the world one life at a time through the preaching and teaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ, our Lord.” We endeavor to continue this wonderful work of his glorious church and to continue to be a lighthouse of Jesus in our community. We encourage everyone to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and consider Locust Grove Baptist Church as the place their family and friends can worship the Lord in spirit and truth.
